Saxophones for Sale

Occasionally, I have a sax for sale. I am not a dealer and any that I have will be from my personal collection. All my saxes are maintained in tip-top condition by one of the UK's premiere technicians, Dawkes Music.

Conn 26M Connqueror Alto for sale - very rare & excellent condition

1936 Conn Conqueror 26M Alto. Beautiful condition & very rare, this alto features the silver swivel thumb rest only seen on earlier models. All the silver key touches are present & it is the underslung octave model. It has recently undergone a complete repad & overhaul with reso-pad type pads and metal resonators. These pads are very specific as todays replacement reso-pads are not particularly good quality. Others like roo pads are very hard and unforgiving on rolled tone holes, and they also alter the tone considerably. From expericence with my technician, these fitted pads are the best for vintage Conns.

These are rarely seen for sale & in my opinion are superior to any MkVI - the last one I saw available sold immediately.
